My Mission

To use photography to document how people around the world transform everyday spaces and found objects into places to play soccer—celebrating their creativity while revealing the inequities that shape access to the world’s game—and inspire a world where everyone has a safe, equitable, and inspiring place to play, powered by community action, investment, and a belief that the beautiful game belongs to everyone.

New York City is where this journey begins. By photographing street soccer across all five boroughs—from sidewalks and playgrounds to parks, courts, alleys, and other improvised spaces—I will document the creativity, culture, and resourcefulness of players who find a way to play wherever they can. These stories will form the foundation of a project that can ultimately expand to cities and communities around the world.
